This week we began thinking of ideas for our music video, some of the ideas that I came up with included:
- A live performance using the multicam
- Lyrics music video - the performer is still in the music video but lyrics will come up in certain places
- A narrative music video where the lyrics directly relate to the action in the music video.

Research:

Below is the research I completed on the ‘History of Music Videos’ within this piece of work I took a look at the first ever music video released, I also went through the different forms e.g. short film, cartoon/animation and purposes of music videos e.g. to promote a movie. I then went on to research how music videos have gone on to develop.

WEDNESDAY July 4th

This week I have been completing my research on 'Music Video History' I have presented this piece of work on a prezi. This task involved me researching the first ever music video released, the purposes of music videos and how this has changed throughout time, and finally how music videos have developed and how the development of technology has been a key factor in this.

This tasks gives me more knowledge and understanding on how music videos have changed and developed over time due to influences such as technology and how I can therefore reflect such development in my music video so it can relate to audiences in the modern day.
